Herbex Chrysanthemum


Chrysanthemum is a perennial plant belonging to the Compositae. Luteoloside, the active component of its most frequently used part Capitulum, is effective for resisting oxidation.

Features and benefits:

The flavones and other small molecules contained in Chrysanthemum extract can enter into the membrane of red cells and repair the membrane damaged by superoxide anions, thus Chrysanthemum extract is very valuable in the application of combating biomembrane peroxidation.

Luteoloside can effectively protect myocardial cells from the oxidative damage of H2O2, the mechanism is related to its inhibition of lipid peroxidation and intracellular calcium overload.


Applications:
